Doubles Progressive Challenge - Saturday, Aug 15th results
It was a fantastic morning of badminton doubles play at Rally with 28 participants taking part in a DP challenge event. Folks came from as far as Rochester and Geneseo to participate. We even had a player who claimed she came all the way from India for the event . 112 games took place on the day from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on 6 courts. Congratulations to Shaurya Vij from group 5 for winning 1st place ($100) and Shariful Islam from group 1 for runner-up ($50). Both had a 12-4 records with Shaurya winning the tie-breaker on points scored, 228-219. 9 folks had the best records in their groups twice. Thanks again to all who participated and we look forward to the next DP event taking place at Rally at a time to be determined in September. Registration coming soon. Final statistics below.
