Adult Pickleball Instruction / Training Classes
Rally Niagara offers small group pickleball level 1 instructional classes and level 2 training classes weekly. Sunday and Friday are 4 week classes (once per week) and Wednesday is a week by week selected offering. For class details, registration, and instructor bios see below. Class Offerings:

Level 1 - for folks just starting out in Pickleball. Instruction includes basic rallying, serving, learning the scoring system, rules of the game, and game play. There will be numerous paddles to try out and use. Class is 4 weeks in duration. Cost is $69.

Level 2 - for folks with game play experience and knowledge of scoring, serving, and rallying. Training will include strategies of the game that include skill such as dinking, serving, 3rd shot returns, etc. along with drilling practice. Cost is $69 for 4 week classes or $15 for skill & drill Wednesday sessions.

Instructor Bios:
​
Scott Gould:
Born and raised in Western New York, Scott is a dedicated member of our Western NY Pickleball Community. He joins our Pickleball team having been an avid tennis player with 15 years of playing experience. Starting in the fall of 2024, Scott hung up his tennis rackets, moved full time into Pickleball. Scott enjoys sharing his love for the game, his drive to always be improving, and traveling to play in tournaments. His goal is to make sure everyone has fun on court in any scenario. Scott’s expertise is in technical stroke analysis and tactical implementation to create a winning formula for his students. As a PPR Level 2 Pickleball Coach, he can break down what’s not working technically, to better align the player and their potential:) Balancing his love for sports with a successful IT career in cancer research, he brings a unique perspective to our pickleball programming. In addition to tennis and pickleball, Scott enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending quality time with his wife and four cats. He is excited to be part of the team developing innovative and engaging pickleball experiences for our clients. Whether coaching, practicing, or participating in tournaments, you’ll always find Scott smiling as he shares his enthusiasm for the game!

David Butler:
​
David has taught Pickleball for 30 years in for Akron High School. He currently is the University of Buffalo pickleball instructor, consucts pickleball community education classes and has partnered with Rally Niagara's pickleball program since 2019. David is a member of the US Pickleball Association (USPA), Pickleball Pro Registry (PPR) and Pickleball Coaching International (PCI). He looks forward to sharing his passion and experience of pickleball with you.

Tim O'Brien:
​
Tim is a staff member of Rally Niagara and has conducted pickleball small group training classes over the past year. His pleaseant demeanor, witty humor, combined with his extensive pickleball experience and love of the game, make people feel at ease especially when learning and practicing new skills.
